Problem-Oriented Approach to Context-Aware Software Applications
Dr Salifu's research interest is in Context sensitive devices - these are expected to change their behaviour in response to changes in their operating environments. Reasons for changes in the operating environment are many, from fluctuating resources upon which the device relies to different operating locations or the presence of other devices. Changes may also be caused by users’ preferences. There is an increasing expectation for software intensive devices to be context sensitive, and many consumers’ devices such as mobile phones are expected to follow this trend.
