We offer a range of mathematics and statistics modules, from three that require very little prior formal mathematical experience (GCSE or lower), to mathematics at master's level.

We currently have over 15,000 students studying mathematics modules, and the largest number of students of any mathematics MSc in the UK.

In both the 2005 and the 2006 National Students Survey, the OU achieved the highest overall satisfaction rating of all UK universities in mathematical sciences.
